Gibson Patterns and Southern Lanterns
Southern Lanterns manufacture a range of reproduction Victorian gas lanterns, styled on the original gas lanterns and poles used in the last century.
Aesthetically
pleasing the poles are manufactured from marine-grade Aluminium (cast in
traditional sand moulds) and heavy gauge zinc- or powder-coated Steel.

Each pole and lantern is hand assembled and bears a name plate with an individual serial number and is finished with wet applied undercoat and Epoxy topcoat.
Included in the range are pedestals (for use on gate posts), pillars (for use on low walls), wall lights, bollards, sun dials, letterboxes and signs. All in the Victorian style.
Lamp post bases are available in round or octagonal style. Lamp posts are available in heights of 2.2 m, 2.5 m and 3.2 m.
Letterboxes are classic design made from cast Aluminium panels front and back, attached to a sturdy zinc-plated and epoxy painted steel body.
Each piece is finised in longlasting Epoxy powder coating in a variety of colours.
